Composer's Biography
Lisa Streich
Lisa Streich, born in Norra Råda, Sweden in 1985, studies composition with Prof. William Brunson at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. From 2005 to 2007 she studied church music and musicology at the University of the Arts and at the Humboldt University both in Berlin. In 2008 she studied with Prof. Adriana Hölszky at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria and with Prof. Michael Beil at the Hochschule für Musik Cologne as an Erasmus scholarship student. In 2008 she was presented in the Newcomer Werkstatt for Sound Arts on the Deutschlandradio Kultur. Her works have been performed on stage in Sweden, Germany and Austria and have been broadcast on German and Czech radio. In 2008 she was a finalist at the MUSICA NOVA International Electroacoustic Music Competition, Prague.
